Dream Biography’s mission is to inspire and to be inspired by providing people with the space to write, and to share their secret dream biographies.

Imagine your life as if it has already been lived. Now, imagine a website where you can write and secretly share what you envision with the universe to inspire others, and to be inspired.

That’s what we’ve created with DreamBiography.com

When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it. – Paolo Coelho, The Alchemist

This famous quote, along with others, has been heard time and time again, and the research behind it is clear:

People who have clear intentions and set goals in alignment with those intentions demonstrate greater persistence, creativity, and risk-taking as they work toward living the life of their dreams. (Harvard University). And, when we publicly share our intentions, even if anonymously, it makes it even more real to ourselves and to the universe.

Write it. Share it. Make it Real.

The universe is waiting for you to make clear your intentions and dreams.

How to Write Your Secret Dream Biography

We are made of star-stuff. There are pieces of star within us all. -Carl Sagan

The Science Behind Intentions

When you write your intentions it triggers the part of the brain that relates to ownership. In psychology the idea of ownership is called the endowment effect.

When you clearly envision your life before it even happens, what you have envisioned actually begins to be integrated as a part of your identity. You literally begin to believe that you are already living the life that you have imagined.

Taking ownership of our decisions, and the effects of the choices that we make empowers us. It also makes it more likely that we’ll stay aligned with the truth we’ve envisioned for ourselves.

There’s a bonus too: writing and stating your intentions for your life makes it easier for you to set clear goals, particularly when your goals are aligned with what you’ve envisioned for your life.

Research also shows that setting goals in alignment with intentions, the life you envision, leads people to demonstrate greater persistence, creativity, and risk taking as they work toward living the life of their dreams. (Harvard University)

If you’ve been waiting for a sign from the universe, here it is.
